Future SalesSome 88 percent of executives surveyed by the Business Roundtable in March expect an increase in sales over the next six months. One-third expect their companies to hire staff.
UnemploymentThe unemployment rate in February remained steady at 5.6 percent, the U.S. Labor Department reported. Only 21,000 new jobs were added in February, down from 97,000 added in January.
Tax RefundsThe average tax refund this year is $2,182, up 4.4 percent from $2,089 last year.
