GES Named Education Sponsor for TS²

By Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 5/17/2004

The Trade Show Exhibitors Assn. has landed the second of the two largest general contracting firms as a sponsor at its annual event. In early May, TSEA announced that GES Exposition Services would be an official education sponsor of TS² – The Trade Show About Trade Shows, to be held July 12-15 at Chicago's McCormick Place.

TSEA President Michael Bandy commented that the sponsorship means "two of the industry's leading general contractors are supporting our exhibit and event management educational efforts."

The Freeman Companies is sponsoring the audio conference series and Exhibit Marketing Institute. GES' contribution helps the association continue to develop and provide top-notch exhibitor education, Bandy said.

He declined to provide specifics on the sponsorship's cash value or to speculate on future partnerships. "We have a lot of irons in the fire out there that would significantly increase our tent, but it's all tentative right now," he said.

Bandy said GES' participation at TS² would be reflected in stage signs during the opening session and in the program. The company also has the option of placing a flier in bags distributed to conference attendees.

The GES sponsorship covers the TS² Super Session, Focus Zone Seminars, Ask the Expert Panels, Knowledge Loop Roundtables and the General Closing Session.
