The Telecommunications Industry Assn. reported that its annual gathering, SUPERCOMM, drew 675 exhibitors and 27,650 attendees to a 302,820 net square foot showfloor at Chicago's McCormick Place June 20–24. That is up from the 2003 event, which drew 538 exhibitors and 25,357 attendees to a 278,000 net sq. ft. showfloor at Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center, earning the show a No. 78 ranking on the 2004 Tradeshow Week 200.

Nearly 1,400 exhibitors and 25,000 buyers turned out for the collocated Medical Design & Manufacturing East, EastPack, PLASTEC East, Ingredients Expo and Atlantic Design & Manufacturing shows, according to manager Canon Communications. The combined event, held at New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center June 15–17, ranked No. 124 on the 2004 TSW 200.
