IAAPA Asian Expo

After canceling its Asian show in 2003 due to the SARS scare, the Intl. Assn. of Amusement Parks and Attractions reported that the IAAPA Asian Expo 2004 drew 2,600 attendees and 151 exhibitors to the Suntec Singapore Intl. Convention & Exhibition Centre July 13–16. IAAPA purchased the show from Terrapinn and the American Amusement Machine Assn. in early 2003.

MAATS

The Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show attracted 2,385 attendees to the Las Vegas Hilton July 8–11, a 5-percent increase over the previous year. The 35,320 net square foot showfloor was sold out with 295 exhibitors but, according to the Natl. Marine Manufacturing Assn., once MAATS moves to the Las Vegas Convention Center for its 2005 show, an additional 150 exhibitors will be accommodated.
