Heritage St. Paul Managers Form New Company

The managers of Heritage Exhibits of St. Paul have bought the company's assets and formed a new exhibit design company called CenterPoint.
The four managers — President Joel Turunen, Controller Loren Willis and Vice Presidents Dave Erickson and Mark Hager — along with two private investors, bought the customer list and other assets of the St. Paul, Minn., office of Heritage Exhibits.
The new company took over the 250,000 square foot Heritage St. Paul facility on Dec. 5, the day the deal closed. Perhaps more importantly, it hired Heritage's 60 experienced staff members.
The company lists DIRECTV, Qwest Communications and ADC Telecommunications among its customers. "CenterPoint enjoys a strong position and is certainly able to be profitable in the first year of operation," said Hager. "It's a wonderful, experienced crew. We're ready to do business."
Heritage Exhibits, whose history stretches back a half-century, still operates a St. Louis office. Both the CenterPoint managers and staff retained their previous job titles. Hager said the new company is "very well capitalized."
The new owners, he added, "bring not just proven expertise, but a clearheaded and fresh energy that can come with a new company."
