The WSA Show, held Aug.5–8 at Sands Expo & Convention Center/Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, drew 1,600 exhibitors, up from 1,149 in 2003, said the World Shoe Assn. Attendance of 24,272 compared with attendance of 10,581 during last year's August version of the semiannual show.
Firehouse ExpoMore than 15,000 fire, rescue and EMS professionals and 412 exhibitors turned out at this year's 21st annual Firehouse Expo at the Baltimore Convention Center. This year's expo, produced by Cygnus Expositions, included more than 120 educational courses and marked the 100th anniversary of the Great Baltimore Fire. The number of exhibitors increased 10 percent from 2003.
