Assn. Management Group President and CEO Bruce Wardle has been named chairman of the Assn. Management Company Section Council.
SmithBucklin has made two staff additions:
- Mary Eiken has been named executive director of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. Eiken previously served as an association manager for SmithBucklin.
- Patrice McKenney is now executive director of the Intl. Bone and Mineral Society. McKenney is also a monthly panelist on Metro Talk, a public affairs radio talk show in Washington, D.C.
The Greater Minneapolis Convention & Visitors Assn. has announced several promotions:
- Senior national account executive Lorri Bell is now director of meeting and conference sales.
- Senior national account executive Scott Romane is now director of citywide sales.
- Account executive Christine Skwarek is now manager of convention sales and research.
- National account executive Angie Kufus is now sales manager.
In addition, the association has named Adam Heffron Minneapolis Convention Center director of sales.
The Kissimmee-St. Cloud (Fla.) Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Sally Slater, former sales manager at the Bloomington (Minn.) Convention & Visitors Bureau, as manager of convention sales.
