Messe Frankfurt's Music China, held Oct. 23–29 at the Shanghai New Intl. Expo Centre, drew 25,156 visitors and 619 exhibitors to a 34,000 square meter showfloor. The attendance marked a 17-percent increase over the previous year, while the number of exhibitors increased by 48 percent, organizers said. The third annual music show was collocated with Messe Frankfurt's Prolight + Sound Shanghai, which featured 130 exhibitors, 9,102 buyers and a 7,000 sq. m. floor.

Zuchex, held in Istanbul Beylikduzu Tuyap Exhibition Centre Sept. 10–14, attracted 450 exhibitors and 43,000 people from 70 countries. International attendance was up 45 percent from last year at the housewares and gift event, which was organized by Life Medya. The 2005 show is scheduled for March 5–8 at the Tuyap Exhibition Centre in Istanbul.
