Debbi Foshee has been named director of sales and marketing for the Shreveport (La.) Convention Center. She previously held the same position with the Memphis (Tenn.) Cook Convention Center.

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman will serve as chairman of the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority for the next two years.

Jay James has joined Freeman as director of sales, corporate accounts.

Bob Orlando, a former executive with online advertising firm Switchboard, has been named senior vice president and CFO for group reservations management and distribution firm Passkey Intl.

Heather Trent was hired as citywide sales manager for the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau's eastern region.
