- Douglas Boone has joined Tradeshow Week as researach manager. He was previously research manager with Online Testing Exchange and research analyst with the Directors Guild of America.
- Kaye Englebrecht has joined SmithBucklin as executive director of the Natl. Assn. of Orthopaedic Nurses.
- Vicki Hawarden has been named director, education and conferences, for the Natl. Recreation and Park Assn. She was previously director of meetings and programs for the American Assn. of Blood Banks.
- The Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Tina Jones as convention sales manager.
- Dmg world media has named Don Knox vice president of AD:TECH Expositions and Paul Beckley show director.
- Graphics of the Americas has added Ben Neji, director of operations, to its tradeshow staff.
- The Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau has named Jane Rodriguez director of membership marketing and communications and Lisa Meredith director of corporate sales.
- Gene Sanders has been named vice president of sales and business development for the Telecommunications Industry Assn. and will be in charge of all TIA shows.
