New Business Contracts

Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 4/11/2005

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority recently announced the addition of four new annual shows to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center's calendar. The shows — the Internal Foundation of Employee Benefits Plan Annual Benefits Conference (October 2014), Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference (July 2006), Siebel User Week 2005 with Siebel Business Intelligence Summit 2005 (October) and the American Dietetic Assn. Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (November 2010) — will generate approximately $22.1 million in economic activity.

The Specialty Equipment Market Assn. announced that American Honda Motor will be vehicle manufacturer of the SEMA Show Nov. 1–4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The 2006 Honda Civic will be the official vehicle of the show, which last drew 117,000 attendees to 1,900 exhibitors at the Nov. 2–5, 2004 show at the LVCC. Honda is the first non-Big 3 original equipment manufacturer ever selected for the show.
