GES Exposition Services has promoted Fred Buonacorsi to executive vice president of operations for the west region. Buonacorsi joined GES in 2002 as vice president, logistics and transportation.

Al Dyess has been named assistant general manager of Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center. Dyess was most recently a senior executive vice president for GES Exposition Services.

Stan Edwards has been promoted to director of sales and marketing for ConventionPlanit.com. He was previously regional director of sales.

Nimlock has promoted Dave Evensen to the newly created position of vice president, global product development.

Michael Foster has rejoined Wyndham Jade as vice president, sales.

Hill & Partners has hired Mark Holme as its creative director.

The Palm Beach (Fla.) County Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Kevin James as national convention sales manager.
