The World Shoe Assn. has extended its contract with GES Exposition Services through 2009. The semiannual WSA Show, to be held in Las Vegas through 2009, were both in the top 10 on the 2005 Tradeshow Week 200. Combined, the 2004 shows offered 3,151 exhibitors covering more than 1.8 million square feet of space of exhibit space.

The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute is partnering with software developer BDMetrics to introduce My PackExpo, a personalized Web-based tool for PACK EXPO attendees. My PackExpo will be released for PACK EXPO Las Vegas Sept. 26–28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees will receive an e-mailed report on people they should meet, companies to visit and conference sessions to attend based on preferences submitted at the time of registration.
