TechTarget Joins Forces with Korean Event Producer

TechTarget, a U.S. producer of information technology media and events, has signed a partnership agreement with Infothe Media Group, a South Korean producer of a security magazine and events.

TechTarget's security media group will contribute content for Infothe. The companies will also sell advertising for each other's products.

Infothe produces the Intl. SecuExpo Korea at Seoul's COEX center each April, in addition to conferences aimed at security managers and those who provide security for factory automation.

Infothe also published Information Security 21c magazine, which will be renamed Information Security Korea.

TechTarget produces three magazines and a half-dozen invitation-only IT events.

The agreement with Infothe is TechTarget's third global pact. Last May, the company signed agreements with Taiwan IT firm New Era Intl. and Chinese firm ChinaByte. TechTarget also expanded to Japan with an agreement with ITmedia.
