Foxwoods Will Add Meeting Space

The Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., is launching a $700 million expansion that is slated to include nearly 225,000 square feet of additional exhibit and meeting space. The project at the facility, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, is scheduled for completion in summer 2008.
Joan Esnault, Foxwoods director of resort sales, said the project would allow Foxwoods to gain more of the growing corporate tradeshow market. It is also targeting association shows in the flooring, roofing and other contracting industries.
