Furniture Show Returns to Atlantic City
Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 10/10/2005
After a 13-year hiatus, Karel Exposition Management is returning to Atlantic City, N.J.
KEM President Larry Karel said exhibitors and buyers are enthusiastic about the Atlantic City Furniture & Accessory Market, set for May 7–9, 2006, at the Atlantic City Convention Center. "We are already expanding our initial space reservations at the center," he said.
The city's location within a few hours' drive of nearly one-third of the nation's population and one-fifth of the country's businesses was a key selling point.
The Tri-State Home Furnishings Assn., which serves eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware, is encouraging its members to participate in the show.
"This market offers great selling opportunity to our members, and many are already signing up," said Cathy Reed, executive director of the group. "We supported KEM's efforts in Atlantic City in the past, and we look forward to another successful Karel production."
The addition of the show to the semiannual Edison Furniture & Accessory Market marks the first time that the firm has offered three shows in one state.
KEM has been producing furniture and accessory shows since 1952.
