China Agrees to Fight Intellectual Property Theft

The Chinese government has agreed to take measures to counter theft, counterfeiting and piracy of intellectual property at tradeshows in its country, according to a joint declaration announced Wednesday by the Intl. Assn. for Exhibition Management and the China Council for the Promotion of Intl. Trade. The declaration will be signed the week of Jan. 11 during the China Expo Forum for Intl. Cooperation in Guangzhou, China.
