Braintree, Mass.-based Universal Event Management has been awarded a multi-year contract to manage MemoryTrends Trade Show. The TSW Fastest 50 show will next take place Oct. 10–12 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Lanham, Md.-based Hargrove was recently selected as general service contractor for tradeshows for the Insurance Accounting & Systems Assn. and the American Assn. for Geriatric Psychiatry. Both signed multi-year contracts beginning with their 2006 events. The IASA Annual Conference & Business Show will take place June 4–7. The AAGP Annual Meeting will be held March 10–13.
Event production firm Shomex and Variety (like TSW, a Reed Business Information publication) will jointly produce two events that will provide entertainment and media employers a platform to promote their career opportunities. The first event is scheduled April 11 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Both events will be jointly developed by the two firms and co-branded with VarietyCareers.com.
