Hilton this month took over management of Dallas' Anatole Hotel, a 1,606-room property owned by Dallas-based Crow Holdings and formerly under the Wyndham banner.
The Hilton Anatole Hotel, as it is now known, will undergo a $30 million renovation over the next two years. It is situated on 45 acres near downtown Dallas. It was originally constructed in 1978; a tower was added in 1984. The hotel's conference center spans more than 340,000 square feet of meeting space.
Ken Smith, senior vice president for Hilton operations in the central United States, said, "The Anatole Hotel has built its well-deserved legacy as one of Dallas' finest landmarks by accommodating travelers with unmatched service and style."
In related news, Hilton in December sold the 395-room Hilton DFW Lakes Hotel & Executive Conference Center in Dallas to an affiliate of Somera Capital Management for $65.5 million. The hotel will continue to operate as a Hilton-branded property under the terms of a 20-year franchise agreement.
