• For the first time, Duesseldorf this year will present Quadriennale, an international art festival that is scheduled to repeat in the city every four years. The program will begin in March, with the city's museums and art galleries presenting exhibitions all with the theme of the body. A symposium titled "The Body in Contemporary Art" will mark the end of the festival in October.
