MAGIC Intl. Launches New Show Division

MAGIC Intl. will launch a new section called Pedestal within its Feb. 21–24 MAGIC Marketplace at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Hilton.
Pedestal, a division of its women's apparel and accessory event WWDMAGIC, will feature a juried collection of brands. The showcase will host more than 30 brands of contemporary collections for fall and winter.
The minimalist-designed section will feature a central lounge, chandelier and disc jockey booth with all-female DJs spinning live each day.
"Pedestal answers the needs of buyers in search of new collection-driven resources in the women's contemporary market," said MAGIC Intl. Marketing Director Camille Candella.
MAGIC Intl., a subsidiary of Advanstar Communications, will also launch the accessories show MODEUROPE at this week's show.
MODEUROPE, said to be a taste of Reed Exhibition's semiannual Paris show Eclat de Mode by BIJORHCA, will be located within WWDMAGIC's Accessories division at the Hilton and alongside Reed's Jewelry Marketplace by JCK (formerly called JCK at MAGIC).
MODEUROPE is expected to showcase fashion jewelry from several European countries. More than 60 brands, many of which haven't yet exhibited in the United States, are lined up to premiere at the show, organizers said.
