New Business Contracts
Rachelle Crum -- Tradeshow Week, 3/13/2006
The biennial Worldwide Food Expo has extended its contract with GES Exposition Services through 2009. The expo, a collocation of the two Tradeshow Week 200 shows Food, Dairy & Beverage Exposition (No. 92 for 2003) and the American Meat Institute Intl. Meat, Poultry & Seafood Exposition (No. 75 for 2003), attracts more than 1,000 exhibitors covering 1.2 million sq. ft. of space and approximately 30,000 attendees from 100 countries.
The Jacksonville (Fla.) & the Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau recently contracted with the Jacksonville Hotel and Motel Assn. to oversee the association's management responsibilities, including administrative and membership functions, in 2006.
The Suntec Singapore Intl. Convention & Exhibition Centre will host the Tax Free World Assn. Asia Pacific and GATE ONE conferences for the next three years, starting this year. The Paris-based TFWA held the event at the venue last year and, Suntec said, 85 percent of interviewed participants favored staying in Singapore.
