Rachelle Crum -- Tradeshow Week, 3/13/2006

According to George Little Management, the New York Intl. Gift Fair Jan. 28–Feb. 2 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center attracted 43,240 buyers, 0.6 percent more than in 2005, when 43,000 buyers visited the show. The Gift Fair showcased nearly 2,800 exhibitors, including 450 first-time participants.

The SIA SnowSports Show Jan. 23–26 at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Convention Center attracted 4,725 buyers, down 2 percent from its 2005 show, which drew 4,831 buyers. Show organizer SnowSports Industries America said the slight decrease was mostly due to industry consolidation. The show is No. 56 on the TSW 200.
