Following the March approval of the Duke Energy and Cinergy merger, Cincinnati's Cinergy Center will be called Duke Energy Center. The venue in June plans to open its expansion, which will bring exhibit space to 196,320 sq. ft.
Toronto's Natl. Trade Centre at Exhibition Place will be renamed Direct Energy Centre as a result of a 10-year sponsorship agreement between Exhibition Place and the energy provider. The naming rights fees will be used to invest in energy conservation at Exhibition Place.
