New York-based MSGI Security Solutions has been awarded a long-term consulting contract with the city's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Innalogic, an MSGI operating company, will provide network consulting services for event security.
Narcotics Anonymous World Services has selected Philadelphia to host its 35th World Convention of Narcotics Anonymous Aug. 29–Sept. 1, 2013. The biennial event is expected to attract more than 30,000 attendees from 40 countries, using up to 14,485 room nights and making an economic impact of nearly $17 million for the region.
ASAE & the Center has selected Toronto, St. Louis and Dallas to host its 2009, 2011 and 2012 annual meetings, respectively. It has been nearly two decades since the meeting was held in any of the three selected cities, according to the association. The event will take place in Boston this Aug. 19–22, Chicago in 2007, San Diego in 2008 and Los Angeles in 2010.
