Rachelle Crum -- Tradeshow Week, 5/22/2006

The biennial Intertraffic Amsterdam, April 4–7 at the Amsterdam RAI Center in Amsterdam, Netherlands, attracted 23,890 visitors from 110 countries, 0.9 percent fewer than its 24,109 visitors in 2004. The show, produced by Amsterdam RAI, showcased 690 participants from 41 countries, up from 679 exhibitors from 39 countries in 2004. Show organizers credited exhibitor growth to new initiatives, including a comprehensive seminar program.

The ISA Intl. Sign Expo, held April 5–8 at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center, drew 19,863 total attendees (8.8 percent fewer than in 2005) to 566 exhibiting companies within 225,300 net sq. ft. The 2005 show at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino spanned 218,000 net sq. ft., with 578 exhibiting companies and 21,777 attendees. The 2007 show will take place April 11–14 at Mandalay Bay.
