Foxwoods Resort Casino has hired Kathleen Ceseretti as director of national accounts.
The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Ellie Westman Chin as director of membership, Georgia Lopez as manager of international sales and marketing, Robert Sanders as supervisor of registration services and Latrice McGill as manager of registration services.
Bryan Crowe has been named assistant general manager for the El Paso Convention & Performing Arts Centers.
Jay Decker has been named MICE Creative's director of business development.
The Washington (D.C.) Convention Center Authority has named Ronnie "Tony" Hayes manager of sales and bookings. Hayes will be responsible for increasing revenue at the Washington Convention and Tourism Corp.
Freeman has named John O'Connell Jr. executive vice president and COO and Mike Sole senior vice president of the Eastern division. In addition, Rob Engelhardt has been promoted to general manager of Freeman's Orlando operation, and Doug Van Ort named senior vice president of the Central division.
The Assn. Forum of Chicagoland has named SmithBucklin's Ronald E. Pietrzak to its 2006–2007 board of directors. Pietrzak serves as executive director of the Assn. of Steel Distributors, the Wallcoverings Assn. and the American Ladder Institute.
Donna Shaw has been named vice president of marketing for the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau.
George Little Management has announced that Patti Stracher will return to the company to serve as manager of the Natl. Stationery Show, replacing Lori Robinson, manager of the show since 2001. Robinson will remain with the company to handle special projects on a part-time basis.
