New Business Contracts
Rachelle Crum -- Tradeshow Week, 6/26/2006
The Chicago Automobile Trade Assn. recently awarded GES Exposition Services a four-year contract as the official service contractor for the Chicago Auto Show. The contract will begin with the 99th edition of the show Feb. 9–18, 2007. The show typically spans nearly 1.3 million gross square feet at McCormick Place. GES will create a custom e-commerce site and incorporate a new design package for the show.
The Indianapolis Capital Improvement Board has selected Ratio Architects as lead architect for the Indiana Convention Center expansion. Ratio will be responsible for designing the expansion's exterior. Three firms — BSA LifeStructures, Blackburn Architects and Domain Architecture — were selected as associate architects on the project. Work on the center expansion is expected to begin in 2008 and be finished by late 2010.
