At the recent staging of CRC 2006, 12th China Retail Conference & Exposition, more than 140 exhibitors from 13 countries showcased their retail technologies and developments to 11,037 visitors from 16 nations. That was down 2 percent from 2005 when 160 exhibitors attracted 11,235 visitors. VNU Exhibitions Asia and Messe Duesseldorf China jointly organized the event at the Shanghai New Intl. Expo Center.

The 2006 Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show, held July 192–1 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Convention Center, experienced its most successful show to date. Its attendance increased 2 percent to 2,426 attendees, up from last year's 2,391. Also this year, 372 exhibitors attended MAATS, up from 360 the previous year. A total of 285 international participants representing 30 different countries were on hand for the event.
