CMP Technology hired John Cox as vice president of account development for the Business Technology Group and Lisa Johnson as senior vice president of marketing.

AWFSFair hired Marguerite Gervais-Hoffman as operations director.

Global Spectrum chose Nadine Guest as general manager of the Overland Park (Kan.) Convention Center. She replaced Kelvin D. Moore, who was promoted to general manager of the Global Spectrum-managed Nueces County Fairgrounds in Robstown, Texas.

Elissa Hernandez joined Meet Minneapolis (formerly the Minneapolis CVB) as manager of exhibition relations and portfolio sales.

SmithBucklin promoted Heather Nash to senior manager in its convention and tradeshow services unit. She had been working on Americas' SAP Users' Group, including managing the ASUG Annual Conference.

George Little Management named Associate Partner Leslie Nathan-Street director of industry relations for key gift accounts, and Associate Partner Dorothy Belshaw show director of the New York Intl. Gift Fair.

The Intl. Assn. of Assembly Managers inaugurated its new president, Larry B. Perkins, assistant general manager of the RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C., during its annual conference and tradeshow.

ConvExx appointed Jeff Pressman vice president, and promoted Jennifer Carr and Alex Sandler to operations managers, Kita Lewis to registration manager and Jeff Schwartz to sales manager.

The Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau changed Cheryl Richards' title from vice president of member services to vice president of strategic alliances.

Amy Ramskill was named LA INC. director of client services, acting as liaison between meeting professionals and the local visitor industry. Jim LaBadie was named director of Midwest region convention sales.
