Show to Focus on Asian-American Real Estate Market
Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 8/28/2006
The Asian Real Estate Assn. of America will hold its first annual convention and gala Oct. 15–16 at the Hilton Long Beach (Calif.) & Executive Meeting Center. The event, which will include a Sponsors Expo, hopes to attract real estate and mortgage professionals who work primarily in the Asian-American market. About 400 attendees are expected, according to Jennifer Bui, AREAA program manager.
The event will be co-chaired by Richard Gaylord, Natl. Assn. of Realtors 2008 president, and Craig DeRoy, president of First American Corp. Organizers created the meeting to provide AREAA members with information and networking opportunities that can give them a clear market advantage when it comes to serving Asian-American real estate sellers and buyers.
Speaking at the event will be leaders from business, government and Asian sectors, such as representatives from Cendant's Asian Franchise Operation and Freddie Mac's HomeSteps Operation. They will discuss topics like building an international real estate business, sharpening marketing skills, and using technological information and strategies for growing business.
AREAA also is offering several opportunities to obtain continuing education credit through its certified education courses.
