The Santa Clara (Calif.) Chamber of Commerce and Convention-Visitors Bureau promoted David Andre to vice president of marketing and communications, and Annette Manhart to vice president of convention sales, marketing and services.
The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau hired Dawn Curry as director of convention services, and Kate Stuart as manager of research. Lauren Jarrell was promoted to director of communications.
Chicago's Metropolitan Pier & Exposition Authority named Marilynn Gardner general manager of Navy Pier. She had been acting general manager.
George Little Management named Rita Malek show manager of the New York Home Textiles Show and sales manager of Global Home Textiles.
Ziff Davis selected Priscilla Ng as vice president of e-events, responsible for the Enterprise Group's eSeminars and Virtual Trade Show franchises.
The Intl. Assn. of Assembly Managers named Cliff Wallace, managing director of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, its ambassador to China.
Las Vegas Sands promoted Stephen Weaver to president of its Asian subsidiary. Mark Brown was named president of Sands Macao and the Venetian Macao Resort. David Sylvester was promoted to vice president of retail development.
