Mark Baker resigned as CEO of the Exhibition and Event Assn. of Australasia to move to Gift & Homeware Australia, running its portfolio of three tradeshows per year. The EEAA has not named a replacement for Baker yet.
The Convention Industry Council named Concepts Worldwide Owner and President M. Theresa "Terri" Breining chair of the Accepted Practices Exchange Commission. She succeeded Mickey Schaefer, president of Mickey Schaefer & Associates.
Dmg world media appointed two senior executives to its Australasia business group: Ben Brougham as managing director, Australasia, and Briana Mackey as commercial director, Australia. Both will be based in dmg's Sydney office.
The New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau has promoted MaryBeth Danna to director of convention services.
Interlock Structures named Brice W. Dimond president and COO. Owners Gary Schiess and Ray Schiparri remain as chairman and CEO and head of retail marketing, sales and business development, respectively.
Reed Exhibitions named Kate Dobson vice president with responsibility for the Reed Medical Education unit of Reed Exhibitions Americas. Vinnie Polito is now senior vice president for Global Healthcare/Life Sciences Strategy and Development. Megan Forrester succeeded Polito as senior vice president, Healthcare/Life Science portfolio. Dobson will report to Forrester.
Harvey Dondero left his position as CEO of Broyhill Furniture Industries in Greensboro, N.C., to become CEO of the World Market Center, producer of the semiannual Las Vegas Market tradeshow for home furnishings.
Trump Entertainment Resorts hired Eric Hausler as senior vice president of development.
Dan Merolla joined Freeman as national sales manager in San Francisco. He most recently worked for GES Exposition Services in sales management.
