Highlights
• In 2005, more than $10 billion worth of development was added to Atlanta's amenity lineup, including Atlantic Station (a new shopping and entertainment district) and the Georgia Aquarium. The Hartsfield—Jackson Atlanta Intl. Airport added a fifth runway, and has several other major projects planned including a consolidated rental car facility, the addition of an international terminal and upgraded curbside services.
