World of Asphalt 2007 Is Adding Three New Pavilions
Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 10/23/2006
In an effort to boost attendance, the World of Asphalt 2007 Show and Conference, which focuses on asphalt, highway maintenance and traffic safety, will feature three new exhibit pavilions March 19–22 at Atlanta's Georgia Intl. Convention Center. Show manager Melissa Magestro said she expects the three pavilions to attract about 300 to 400 new attendees to the show.
The new pavilions will feature traffic safety products, information technology for industry use and new products.
According to Magestro, traffic safety products are a significant component of the event, and about 15 to 20 exhibiting companies are expected to participate in that pavilion. Another 13 to 15 exhibitors are expected in the new IT pavilion that Magestro said was the brainchild of a technology exhibitor who "felt lost on the showfloor, and wanted a product-specific pavilion."
She added, "I contacted all our previous IT exhibitors about it, and they unanimously wanted it."
The new products pavilion will consist of about 10 kiosks directing attendees to exhibits on the showfloor.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show Management Services runs the event. Attendance at the 2005 event was 4,145.
