China Sourcing Fair: Gifts & Home Products attracted 31,808 buyers April 20–23 to AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, according to organizer Global Sources. That is a 3-percent increase over last year's 30,743 buyers. Other concurrent China Sourcing Fairs include shows for electronics and components and fashion accessories.
Messe Frankfurt's IMEX worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events set records for visitors and hosted buyers April 22–24 in Frankfurt. The show attracted 8,310 total visitors, 9 percent more than the 7,603 who attended in 2006. The event also attracted 3,400 exhibiting companies.
