Elevation Exhibits Buys INOEE Exhibits

Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 5/14/2007

Exhibit design firm Elevation Exhibits acquired designer INOEE Exhibits for an undisclosed amount. Elevation founder James Burke said the acquisition would expand his company's in-house capabilities and make it possible to offer clients more graphic and exhibit design, corporate and brand identity and multimedia services.

INOEE founder and President Ken Karns has assumed the role of president of Elevation Exhibits, responsible for operations, accounting and human resources. Burke will continue to manage sales, marketing and design. INOEE and its six employees have moved from its former offices in Worcester, Mass., joining Elevation Exhibits' 34 workers at its headquarters in Shrewsbury, Mass. It will operate under the Elevation Exhibits name.

Karns founded INOEE in 2002; Burke founded Elevation in 2006. Besides tradeshow exhibits, Elevation designs exhibits for retail malls and showrooms, training centers, corporate lobbies, welcome centers and museums.
