Deutsche Messe Hannover opened a regional branch office in Dubai. Deutsche Messe also has international subsidiaries in Australia, Brazil, China, India, Turkey and the United States.
The first phase of the new Abu Dhabi Natl. Exhibition Centre opened, and construction has begun on Phase II. When completed in summer 2008, ADNEC will have 55,000 sq. m. (592,000 sq. ft.) of exhibition space.
