New this year: Automotive electronics. Organizers are inviting automotive manufacturers and suppliers to present trends and issues involved in the evolution of the automobile. New technology on display will range from fuel cells to electric drive trains.
The bottom line: Last year saw a dramatic increase in attendance — 26.8 percent — with the return of the show to Northern California. The question is: Can this year's show see the same results with the move to Southern California?
