Clean '07/World Educational Congress for Laundering & Drycleaning
Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 6/11/2007
Where: Las Vegas Convention Center (rotates)
When: June 11–14 (biennial)
Show manager: Riddle & Associates
Show sponsors: Six industry associations
Service contractor: GES Exposition Services
Who exhibits: Equipment, product and service suppliers to the industrial, commercial, coin-op and institutional laundering, as well as dry cleaning, linen supply and textile-maintenance industries
Who attends: Owners and operators of industrial laundry plants, on-premises laundry operations, linen-supply firms, commercial dry cleaners, textile-rental plants, coin-operated laundry and dry cleaning stores, and equipment, product and supply distributors
2005 show statistics: 224,350 net sq. ft.; 511 exhibitors; 9,121 professional attendees.
Position on the 2006 TSW 200: 116
First year of show: 1977
New this year: The logo. For its 30th anniversary, the show is replacing the old purple and yellow icon (used since 1992) in favor of a blue and green logo that retains the circular form of the previous design.
The bottom line: The show opted for Las Vegas instead of the previously planned New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Attendance at Clean '05 in Orlando was down a little from the 2003 show in Las Vegas. The question is: Will it now grow beyond 2003 Las Vegas levels?
