Messe Frankfurt's Hometech Middle East attracted 12,796 attendees May 13–15 to the Dubai (United Arab Emirates) Intl. Convention Center, 162 percent more than the 4,878 attendees last year. The consumer electronics technology tradeshow, sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Assn., featured 230 exhibiting companies.
The May 23–24 All-Energy '07 Exhibition & Conference at the Aberdeen (Scotland) Exhibition and Conference Centre, which incorporated its first hydrogen and fuel cell conference and group pavilion, was the largest in its seven-show history. There were about 4,000 domestic and foreign attendees, 40 percent more than in 2006, when 2,850 attended.
