Former GOP Senate Leader Speaks to Drug Store Meeting

Dr. William "Bill" Frist, former Republican U.S. senator from Tennessee and Senate majority leader from 2003 to 2007, will speak at the
Natl. Assn. of Chain Drug Stores Pharmacy & Technology Conference Aug. 11 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Frist did not run for re-election to the U.S. Senate last year, instead choosing to return to his original profession as a physician. NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson said, "His appearance is further evidence that community pharmacies have great importance to the nation's health care system."
