TS² 2007
Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 8/6/2007
Where: Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C. (rotates)
When: July 31–Aug. 1 (annual)
Show manager: Natl. Trade Productions
Show sponsor: Trade Show Exhibitors Assn.
Who exhibits: Anybody with a product or service that will help a tradeshow exhibitor: for instance, audiovisual services, exhibit designers and builders, transportation companies, installation and dismantle contractors, live talent, photo services and portable exhibit systems
Who attends: Exhibit managers, sales and marketing executives and event planners
2006 show statistics: 42,000 net sq. ft.; 202 exhibitors; 2,697 attendees
First year of show: 1977
New this year: A "mini-IMAX" experience. Attendees can view entries in the Premiere Zone, the new-product showcase launched in 2006, in a large-format interactive screen database and the Interactive Immersive Dome.
The bottom line: Attendance has increased every year since Natl. Trade Productions bought the show in 2005. However, showfloor growth has remained flat. Will those trends continue this year?
