Freeman named Cole McKellar director of new business development for exhibit transportation.
The Advertising Specialty Institute named Don Mennig executive director of marketing. He was previously director of marketing for distributor services. It also named Jack Flohr director of marketing for membership services.
Harvey Dondero has stepped down as World Market Center CEO in order to take a similar position with a furniture company. WMC promoted Michelle Monteferrante from director of tradeshow operations to vice president of show operations, Dana Andrew from director of marketing and public relations to vice president of marketing and public relations, Babs Blair from director of leasing to vice president of leasing and Tim Branscome from director of international business development to vice president of international business development.
GES Exposition Services promoted Derek Pinnock to director of national security.
Mary Power, former president and CEO of the Convention Industry Council, was named executive director of the Human Resources Certification Institute.
IDG World Expo appointed Carolyn Rauch vice president of event development. She was formerly senior vice president of the Entertainment Software Assn.
David Sargent joined the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau as senior vice president of sales and marketing. He was previously area director of sales and marketing for Hilton of Chicago.
