CMP, Pulver, CrossTech Launch Event
Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 8/27/2007
CrossTechMedia, CMP Technology's Channel and Pulvermedia formed an alliance to create IT-eco World Conference and Expo.
The event is scheduled Dec. 5–6 at Cobb Galleria in Atlanta and will focus on using technology to improve business productivity and performance.
CrossTechMedia acquired ITEC, a series of information technology tradeshows, in January and contacted the customer base of the regional events to determine what those customers wanted from a conference and tradeshow, said Debbie Hughes, editorial and marketing director for CrossTechMedia.
"This new event is important because it is a direct reflection of what the IT end users told us they wanted ITEC to become," she added. "Both CMP Technology's Channel and Pulvermedia have their own position in the marketplace and each party brings their own unique viewpoint to the program. It was our feeling that any partnership with them would serve to enhance the visibility of a new event."
The educational program will include conferences dealing with mobile security, technology in education and re-seller training.
CrossTechMedia will continue to produce the ITEC series in nine markets across the United States, each with its own local content, sponsors and exhibitors.
