ASAE & The Center for Assn. Leadership had attendees and exhibitors in record numbers at its 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition, Aug. 11–14 at McCormick Place in Chicago. According to the group, the event attracted 3,755 association executives and 2,350 exhibitors. In 2006, there were 3,191 executives and 1,944 exhibitors.

Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong reported that its China Intl. Trade Fair for Home Textiles & Accessories, held Aug. 29–31 at the Shanghai New Intl. Expo Centre, attracted more than 31,600 trade buyers from around the world. Attendees came from 105 countries and regions. In 2006, attendance was slightly more than 29,000 people.
