Bobit Acquires Auto Dealer Franchise

Bobit Business Media acquired the World of Special Finance Conference & Expo, which focuses on the subprime lending market for the automobile dealer industry, World of Special Finance magazine and related Web sites from Michigan-based firm World of Special Finance. Terms of the deal, which goes into effect with the January issue of the magazine, were not disclosed.
According to Ty Bobit, president and CEO of Bobit Business Media, the acquisition will complement the company's F&I Expo finance and investment management and technology event for new and used car dealers (and a Tradeshow Week Fastest 50 show winner), to be held Sept. 16–18 at Paris Las Vegas, as well as F&I Management & Technology magazine. Bobit serves the automotive, automotive aftermarket, ground transportation, beauty and security markets.
World of Special Finance owners Rick and Cindy Sly will assist with the transition over the next year.
