Tradeshow Week Advertising Director Nancy Walker has been appointed associate publisher. Walker will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the magazine as the search for a publisher continues.

Kimberly Freer is now director of travel industry sales for the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland promoted Sharon Gronowski-Kobayashi to vice president of convention and visitors services. She was formerly director of convention services and events.
The Assn. for Manufacturing Technology named Monica Haley to the new position of marketing administrator. She will develop marketing and advertising programs to promote IMTS — The Intl. Manufacturing Technology Show and act as liaison between AMT and IMTS exhibitors and vendors.
The High Point Market Authority named Shannon Kennedy to the newly created post of marketing and communications manager.
Gillian Murphy has been named senior vice president and general manager of the new resort casino, MGM Grand at Foxwoods. The MGM Grand, which will be connected to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Ct., is scheduled to open in May 2008.
Entertainment Lighting Services named Andy Pepper senior vice president.
The Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Assn. hired Sam Rogers for the newly created position of executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
