Reed Exhibitions Realigns Management
By Staff -- Tradeshow Week, 11/12/2007
Nancy Walsh, a former senior vice president at Reed Exhibitions Americas, has been promoted to executive vice president with responsibility for all the company's trade and consumer shows in North America.
Her promotion is part of a recent restructuring of Reed Exhibitions Americas' senior management team in response to growth in the company.
“Our business today is significantly different than it was just a few years ago,” said Chet Burchett, president of Reed Exhibitions Americas, in a statement. “In fact, nearly a third of the revenue we will see in 2008 is from events and businesses that did not exist at Reed two years ago.”
Walsh will continue to report to Burchett.
The company also promoted both Greg Topalian and Dean Russo, previously group vice presidents, to senior vice president. Topalian will add Reed's spa events and the Canadian business to his portfolio. Now, Russo also will be responsible for the management of the Natl. Hardware Show and Lawn & Garden World. Topalian and Russo report to Walsh.
