NTAG Lands Big Contract With Harrah's
-- Tradeshow Week, 1/21/2008
NTAG has landed seven new deals with one contract. A partnership agreement made in early January between the provider of event data management services and Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment, the meetings and conventions division of Harrah's Entertainment, puts nTAG equipment on site at all seven of the gaming resort company's Las Vegas properties.
The two firms will also co-market and co-sell each other to promote both the venues and the nTAG System for corporate meetings. NTAG will track event performance against such corporate objectives as improved education and team- and community-building.
The nTAG system promises to help event organizers and participants achieve their objectives in education, motivation, customer retention and loyalty, community building and brand impact. With its interactive name badge as the center, nTAG offers data-driven event design, audience participation, and monitoring and measurement services. The company claims IBM, Bank of America, Alcatel-Lucent, General Electric, AT&T and CIGNA among its clients.
Michael Massari, vice president of meeting sales and operations for Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment, said nTAG understood and addressed a specific set of challenges that meeting planners face. According to Massari, the partnership will allow his customers to capture real-time data for monitoring and driving corporate value, an “enormous benefit” to the industry and to clients.
He said nTAG's expertise in event data management would add value to Harrah's offerings as well, allowing the venue operator to provide customers with a comprehensive solution and high level of service.
David Goretski, CEO of nTAG, added that the collaboration would enable companies to quickly and efficiently improve their meetings. He said nTAG had high standards for both its technology and customer service, and that Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment shared those standards.
The 2005 merger between Harrah's Entertainment and Caesars Entertainment combined the meeting sales and operations of six Las Vegas properties into a single city-wide operation, which led to the formation of Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment.
It comprises Bally's Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah's Las Vegas, Imperial Palace, Paris Las Vegas and Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, which total more than 1 million square feet of meeting space, 18,000 guest rooms and suites, and dining, entertainment and leisure options.
